OK - I finished up the final class for this purse, so now I can post the tutorial!

You need the following things to get started : 2 top note dies from CS (I used kraft), 2 top note dies from DSP (sweet 1 scallop circle die for CS, and 3 3/4 circle from DSP (I used the circle scissors), and 1 piece of 5 1/2 X 6 CS. Once they are all cut out, you need to trim BOTH the top note DSP pieces around on the stitching lines. This help for the matted look on the purse.

You can now glue the CS and pieces together, including the circles. The next step is optional, but I pierced around the scallops for some added dimension. You could do pearls, punch bigger holes, whatever suits the project you are making!

Now, you can click Breitling watches on both of these next pictures for a closer view. Placing the points of the top on the 1 1/2" line (where the asterisks are) cut the long edge off. Do both pieces like this.

Now, you need to score you CS fo the box as fake watches shown. Along the 6" side, score it at 2 1/2 and 3 and on the 5" side, score at 1 and 4 1/5. Cut the tabs out in the up to the score lines, and fold on all.

Put your box together, by gluing the smaller flaps to the larger ones on one side. Then glue on the other side, and the box is ready. Add glue to one side (not edge), and glue it to the top note. The straight edge of the note should meet the top of the box, or the can be a SMIDGEN down. Glue on the other side, as well. See picture below.

next part is not going to be precise, but that doesn really matter. Close enough works here, just like in horseshoes. So, place the edge of your circle on approximately 2 3/4 inches, and score a line straight down. Then more the edge of your circle to 1 5/8 ~ use the other score line to make sure you are straight ! and score again. Fold both downward, and this becomes your lid.

Add glue to one part the and adhere it to the back of the purse. Add your at this point, to hold the ribbon for your String the ribbon through, securing it with knots. Stick a velcro dot onto flap of the lid, and then press down to secure the other dot in the right spot. The leaves are a 5-Petal punch cut apart, and curled up to them more realistic. These are perfect for gift cards, with a little something extra, like a chocolate or 6 . hehehe. Tootles, fun and happy stamping!!
